has added a further four
Union Industries' Hi Speed
Doors to its Wakefield
bakery in West Yorkshire,
bringing to 25 the number
of Union doors operating at
Warburtons sites.
The Tuscany Park Bakery
in Wakefield is Warburtons'
flagship bakery. Union
Industries installed three
Bulldoors and a Matadoor
during the first stage of the
build in 2005. The latest
installation of three
Bulldoors and a Matadoor
follows Warburtons' recent
expansion.
The doors have been
installed to segregate areas
inside the bakery, to prevent
heat loss and the ingress of
cold air.
Warburton's also uses
some of the Bulldoors to
operate in an Airlock
configuration to create
hygienic barriers to
segregate different zones of
processing and storage.
The doors have a 'Crashout'
facility, which ensures
they remain operable if hit
by a vehicle. Common to all
doors in the Matadoor
range, it is supplied with a
fire retardant and anti-static
door blade and 12 safety
devices.
The doors' fast operating
speed makes them suitable
for airlocks, reducing the risk
of cross-contamination. More articles from Union Industries: |
