Sensor protects automatic doors

Automatic door sensor manufacturer, BEA, has developed a microwave sensor suitable for use with all industrial automatic doors.

The Falcon is a waterproof, high-performance sensor that will only open a door when a vehicle needs to pass through the doorway. Vehicles are clearly differentiated from pedestrians and parallel traffic is discounted.

Aside from savings made in terms of heating/air conditioning, the sensor also reinforces security by ensuring that personnel and other individuals are prevented from entering a designated area.

It is the first sensor of its kind to rely on a planar antenna, which makes for a highly precise and stable sensing field. Sensing modes are easy to adjust via remote control or with waterproof push buttons.
