Union Industries, the manufacturer of the Matadoor range of Hi Speed Doors, has helped salmon feed manufacturer Biomar increase productivity at its warehouse in Grangemouth. Three large Ramdoors have been installed to reduce the amount of time the warehouse doors are left open. The doors also prevent birds searching for food from flying in.

The 4m2 Ramdoors are installed to the external openings, allowing traffic to travel quickly from the warehouses to the loading canopies and loading yard. The Ramdoors are for exclusive use by forklift trucks and are activated automatically by motion sensors set up to ignore pedestrians. Operating speed is 1.6m/sec, reducing heat loss.

Union Industries, manufacturer of the Matadoor range of Hi Speed Doors, is helping to warm up engine parts with its latest installations at Cummins. The Leeds-based Company has completed a tripleinstallation at the Cummins' Darlington plant to support temperature control within its production facility. Following the latest installation, Union now has 13 of its Bulldoors and Ramdoors operating to segregate areas inside the Cummins plant and prevent heat loss through its large external doorways.
