He says progress will continue this year, and the company used the recent IMHX exhibition to launch the most recent examples of product development New products on show included the HSS 6530 high-speed spiral door which opens at up to 3m/sec. Another new rolling shutter alternative launched is the HSR 6008, which the company claims sets itself apart with stable and simple technology. Narrow guide rails and low space requirements on the sides ensure compact installation dimensions. The company also used IMHX to prepare the market for its new infrared safety edges. An infrared transmitter integrated in the bottom profile transmits the information to a receiver connected to the frame. This means that the high maintenance coiled cable connection is no longer needed. In addition, no hanging cables block the passage of the clear opening and power is supplied by standard batteries.
