Minimising energy usage
May 1st 2011 As energy costs soar Hörmann is
introducing a range of products to
help improve thermal efficiency and
minimise energy usage. From the
DOBO system, that helps maintain
temperature controlled
environments, by allowing trucks to
dock with the rear doors still locked,
to the new insulated high speed
spiral door, Hörmann are providing
better options for warehouse
operators.
The introduction of the
ThermoFrame is another step
forward in minimising thermal
losses by dramatically improving the
thermal efficiency of sectional
overhead doors. This new accessory
is easy to fit with the door frame and
provides a thermal break between
the frame and the fabric of the
building. The heavy duty plastic
ThermoFrame and additional seals
improve the overall door fit,
minimising losses between the door
and frame.
A significant improvement in
thermal insulation of up to 20% per
door can be achieved when the
