Helps to keep temperatures correct
January 1st 2010

Fine tuned for the monitoring of temperature-sensitive products in storage and transit, the New Transit 2 data logger from Tinytag is claimed to be simple to use, robust, lightweight and costeffective.

Use of the logger can help determine whether storage facilities are operating at the correct temperatures, saving energy and reducing CO2 emissions in the process.

The unit is splash-proof with a temperature range of -40 to +70°C.

Its BS EN12830 compliance is said to make temperature monitoring of the transport, storage and distribution of chilled, frozen, deep and quick-frozen foods within EU guidelines an affordable possibility.

The logger is claimed to be accurate, reliable and show clear graph displays when used with Tinytag Explorer, the easy-to-use data logging software used to operate all Tinytag data loggers.

The Transit 2 logger offers both cable and inductive download options; using the logger with a USB cable offers a cost-effective solution for single unit downloads but for many units, the inductive pad option is much easier and faster.
