Dissipation of spillages

The steel-processing works of Corus Tewkesbury had a problem with fluid seeping from cold rolling lines on to the floor and creating a potential hazard. It has now installed large areas of Flexigrid high performance slip resistant matting from Plastic Extruders to create a safe walkway. The matting is also comfortable to walk on which aims to relieve fatigue.

Flexigrid is suited to heavy industrial environments where spillages can create problems. The matting is extremely hard wearing, resistant to oils, chemicals and industrial fluids. A deep etched surface with open grid dissipates debris and spillages. It is made from flexible PVC and will contour over rough or uneven surfaces.
