Floor made to meet VNA standards

When VNA trucks were not able to operate at optimum speed in Ikea Iberias new distribution centre in northeast Spain, a profilograph survey showed that the floor did not meet the DIN 15185 standard for flatness.

To solve the problem, Concrete Grinding used two LaserGrinder machines to form two 230mm wide wheel tracks in each of the 24 aisles to the required tolerances, completing one 126m aisle a day. A powerful vacuum on the LaserGrinders minimised dust to allow the warehouse to operate throughout.
