Slip resistant
December 1st 2009 Blue slip resistant Vynagrip matting,
manufactured by Plastic Extruders,
is being used in the production line
of the new Mackies Crisps brand, a
joint food venture between ice-cream
maker Mackies and the Perthshire
potato company.
At the Taypack factory, Vynagrip
has been laid alongside the
production lines to provide safe,
anti-slip surfaces for workers and
pickers. The matting's open grid
helps to protect them by dissipating
cooking oil spillage from the thermal
deep-fat fryers and from other waste.
Supplied by Arco, Vynagrip matting
was chosen for its deeply etched
surface which is said to provide the
UK's highest rating for slip resistant
performance of R11 when tested to
