Durable safety grating range

MMP International, a division of ITW, has expanded its Maintain Gripfloor range of safety products for floors, steps, platforms, landings and walkways.

To complement the Gripfloor range, which includes mechanically fixed GRP anti-slip panels and treads, and self-adhesive safety treads and tapes, the company has introduced Gripfloor Mini- and Maxi-Grates.

These durable grates of 13mm and 38mm gauge are supplied as standard in 1200mm x 1200mm sizes. Special sizes are made to order. The grates are made of nonrusting composite resin, and are topped off with silicon carbide antislip grit. They can be mechanically fixed or joined together using special clips as supplied, or can be slotted into metal frames like steel grating.

The Maxi-Grates are suitable replacements for steel grating and support great weight. They also offer excellent corrosion resistance.

The Mini-Grates should be supported by a solid substrate, such as a floor, and are particularly suited to use on wet or slippery surfaces.
