Floor cleaning for fulfilment centres

When Sainsbury’s needed floorcleaning equipment for two new fulfilment centres, it turned to onestop- shop, Tennant. Covering thousands of square metres, the high-tech facilities house automated picking bays on five levels.

‘With all the traffic going through the centres, dirt and dust are a major problem,’ said Dave Landy, Sainsbury’s national fleet manager.

‘For image and health and safety reasons, the floors need to be kept spotless. So our requirement was for machines that had very high performance.

‘We also needed a supplier who could provide both expertise and the product range for cleaning everywhere, both inside and out.’
