Energy efficiency is on a roll

Cold store specialist O. Turner Insulation has improved insulation at one of its clients' distribution centres with the purchase of RapidRoll doors from Stertil Stokvis.

The RapidRoll doors were installed into MBL's distribution centre to improve the smooth running of the loading bay area. New openings were created to receive the doors, which are designed to maximise efficiency and aid energy conservation with fast opening (up to 3000mm per second) and automatic closing.

Keeping loading bay doors open for the shortest possible time can go a long way towards reducing both energy waste and costs. Stertil Stokvis's RapidRoll doors help maintain comfortable working temperatures whilst reducing energy loss through open doorways. Improving speed and efficiency in the loading bay is another advantage.
