requirements, Thorworld
Industries has revamped its
mobile yard ramp range. The
new range now provides
customers with the
opportunity to select a ramp
that is not only cost-effective
but which is also suited to
their individual application,
claims the company.
Designed for the fast and
efficient loading and
unloading of vehicle trailers
and containers by fork truck,
particularly where there is no
raised loading dock, the
ramps are CE marked and
conform to all European
quality and safety standards
and legislation.
Available as Standard,
Deluxe and Super Deluxe
(light, medium and heavy
duty) models, with 7000,
10,000,
12,000 or
15,000kg
capacities
and in
lengths
from 11 to 12.2m, Thorworld
mobile yard ramps are
ruggedly built of solid beam
construction, with a serrated
open grid deck for positive
traction in all weathers.
The Super Deluxe/
Recycling Ramp is available
in both 12 and 15t capacities
and is are suited to heavy
duty applications, typically
on a consistent three-shift
operation, in the most
rigorous working
environments, such as the
recycling industry. The
Deluxe Ramp is available in a
10t capacity and is suited to
medium duty applications,
such as continual use on a
single shift basis. The
Standard Ramp is available
in 7 and 10 tonne capacities
and is suitable for light duty
applications where the ramp
may
only be in use three
