a Supply Chain
Maintenance Division.
"Our customers were
constantly asking if we
could do work that was
outside of our advertised
remit," says Marcus
Clissold, customer
services manager for the
new division.
"We have a skilled
workforce that is more
than capable and
qualified to do the work
so it was a natural
progression for us to
extend our offering into
these other areas."
The range of services
includes the supply,
installation, maintenance
and repair of fire rated
roller shutters,
mechanical and hydraulic
dock levellers, sectional
doors, access control
points and scissor lifts.
There is also a full range
of lifts, escalators and
DDA complaint products
available to complete the
range.
Aware that companies
want to reduce costs and
become more
environmentally friendly,
Pickerings ha launched
aLow Carbon Systems
Support (LCSS). LCSS
deals with the
installation, maintenance
and repair of heat pumps
which, according to
Pickerings, are one of the
most cost effective and
environmentally friendly
ways to generate heating
