ensuring its client's loading
bays were able to
accommodate a range of
vehicles of varying heights.
Stertil recommended its
WIS dock shelter – an
inflatable head dock shelter
with curtain sides. Conventional
dock shelters are not
designed for double-deck
vehicles and, with increasing
numbers of vehicles of this
height, many dock shelters
are being damaged.
Changing to a higher
conventional shelter is not
always practical, as the head
curtains are not long enough
to cater for lower vehicles.
Stertil's WIS inflatable
shelter has a longer inflatable
head curtain that can seal
from a height of 5200mm
down to 3400mm and
adjusts automatically to the
appropriate height. Designed
for quick operation and
providinga solution that falls
between inflatable and
curtain shelters, the WIS
inflatable dock shelter is said
to be both practical and
