Preventing heat and energy loss
June 1st 2008 For the new Zeus
Packaging warehouse in
Corby, Hörmann UK
supplied and installed a
high-speed V6030SE
door. The V6030SE
features an opening
speed of up to 3m/s and
Hörmann Soft Edge
technology. Induction
loops operate the door
with a timed return, and
combined with rapid
opening and closing
speed, this helps prevent
heat loss and reduce
energy costs.
The V6030SE was fitted
behind one of two level
access doors installed at
the site. The other was
installed with a PVC strip
curtain on the exterior to
further reduce energy loss
and prevent
contamination when
handling food packaging.
Hörmann also supplied
and installed two loading
bay systems featuring
3750mm high DTS dock
