Sorts and bales plastic bottles

Flintshire County Council has recently installed a feeding hopper and sorting system from Ken Mills Engineering to pre-sort and bale up plastic bottles. The material is fed into a large storage hopper and then along the sorting belt to remove any unwanted materials.

The plastic bottles then pass into a T60 H Autobaling press feed hopper, via a piercing machine. The baling machine compacts the material and then automatically wires the bale before it is ejected for storage or transportation.

The T60 H Auto is the largest horizontal baler in a range of hand fed, semi-automatic and fully automatic baling machines.
