creating a state-of-the-art warehouse
for its fruit and vegetable wholesale
business, industrial door specialist
Cooks of Norwich was called in to
provide the best solutions for the
new build.
Cooks recommended Hörmann
loading bays, dock levellers and doors
to meet the exacting requirements of
the new chilled facility. Loading bays,
sectional doors, rolling shutters, fast
action internal doors, fireshutters
and steel hinged doors were all
installed by Cooks.
Due to the varied fleet of vehicles
operated, Cooks installed dock
levellers on two of the seven loading
bays, with draw bridges selected for
the others. Insulated sectional doors
help to maintain the ambient indoor
temperature with four fast action
doors providing the necessary access
and thermal insulation to maintain
the correct temperatures throughout
