The art of unloading October 1st 2010 Cajlan Rite-Hite intends to take the
strain out of unloading and loading
with its BeltTrack telescopic conveyor.
The lifting equipment reaches up to
18 metres, so the operator can extend
or retract the boom inside a
container. This allows the operator to
position the conveyor optimally and
move naturally without excessive
lifting.
Caljan BeltTrack can be customised
to suit individual applications and a
platform can lift one or two operators
with the boom so that heavy items
like tyres can be moved more easily.
Fitting a Vaculex ParceLift (pictured)
lifting aid to the head of the boom
further reduces the risk of repetitive
strain injuries.
In addition, the company's Mobile
Loader enables operators to load or
unload vans, trailers and containers
through a standard industrial door.
Mounted on heavy-duty swivel
castors, the conveyor is manoeuvred
into position. Items travel up the belt
conveyor and along the extendable
flex-conveyor inside the container.
Little lifting is involved, as the height
of the belts can be adjusted to provide
optimal working conditions. Even
with a steep incline, a firm-grip,
structured belt ensures cumbersome,
heavy boxes don't fall off. More articles from Caljan Rite-Hite Limited: |
