Warmer sheet happens October 1st 2008 Crawford UK has serviced
the sectional overhead
doors at KMF Precision
Sheet Metal in Newcastle
under Lyme for many years,
so when KMF extended its
factory Crawford was
approached to quote for
new doors.
Due to the manufacturing
process the new doors had
to be able to effectively
control the temperature at
the site, as well as keep staff
warm when the doors were
constantly being opened.
Heat loss also needed to be
kept to a minimum in order
to achieve energy efficiency.
The elevated position of
the KMF building meant it
was also important to
specify a door which could
withstand high wind speeds,
Crawford's 855 High Speed
Door met all these
requirements as it is
designed to suit 28m/second
wind loading. The high
speed door can withstand
demanding use and even
collisions. More articles from Crawford UK Ltd: |
