Energy efficient evaporative cooling
April 1st 2007 EcoCooling will be available on Stand 5756 to discuss and demonstrate the application of evaporative cooling for the cooling of buildings and people. Evaporative cooling is suited to the cooling of energy intensive factories and warehouses. Print and packaging processes also benefit from the stabilised humidity levels it produces. A standard EcoCooler, covering an area of approx. 200m2 can produce up to 35kW of cooling in the UK, while consuming only 1.5kW of electricity. Typically an installation is a quarter of the cost of traditional airconditioning and 15% of the running costs. Small to medium enterprises (SMEs) can qualify for an interest free loan from the Carbon Trust to cover the complete installation cost.
