Hygienic loading bays
February 1st 2007 Easilift Loading Systems has supplied and installed equipment for 23 loading bays at Arla Foods' £75m state-of-the-art dairy at Stourton, Leeds. Its dock levellers, insulated sectional doors and door control panels have stainless steel protective finishes to meet the dairy's stringent hygiene standards. Each bay features a 4000kg capacity Easilift Poweramp 232 dock leveller measuring 3.0m long x 2.31m wide with a galvanised steel finish. Available in a range of sizes, it is a fully hydraulic model with a swing/hinged type lip designed and built to be long-lasting with low maintenance requirements. The Powerdoor electrically operated, fully insulated sectional overhead doors each measure 2.5m wide x 2.5m high, contain two vision panels and have special stainless steel hardware. Dock shelters are Easilift's collapsible model 403, a sturdy, hard wearing general-purpose version designed to seal off the widest variety of vehicles during loading and unloading.
