Lifetime warranty – an industry first!
February 1st 2007 Union Industries, manufacturer of the Matadoor range of Hi Speed Doors, is so confident in the reliability of its doors that it is offering a Lifetime Warranty – believed to be a worldwide first for the door industry. Union made this groundbreaking decision for two reasons. Firstly, the consistency in the performance of the Matadoor Range over the last sixteen years has proven that a Lifetime Warranty is a feasible proposition. Secondly, a Lifetime Warranty provides the means to prevent inexperienced and untrained engineers from tinkering with the doors and doing more harm than good in the process. This is a growing problem and of major concern, as more and more companies move towards outsourcing maintenance work. For sixteen years Union has recorded in minute detail the history and performance of every single door that it has installed. It knows the cost of spares, replacement parts, consumables, impact and wilful damage down to the last nut and bolt. It knows the good sites and the bad sites.
