Crawford Amber has introduced a new generation of high performance, high speed doors for installation in the outer walls of commercial and industrial buildings.

Designed with speed and style in mind, the Crawford 855 door has an opening speed of up to 2.5m/sec and improved styling and appearance to reflect the growing importance of aesthetics and corporate identity. The Crawford 855 door also meets all the latest European standards for industrial doors.

A self repairing function automatically re-sets the door blade after a collision, optimising the door operation. A wireless optical safety edge linked to the control unit eliminates the need for trailing spiral cables, which can be a source of maintenance and safety problems on other doors.

With a high wind load resistance of 28m/s the Crawford 855 door is suitable for use even in exposed docking areas and in arduous weather conditions. The soft start and stop function reduces noise and prolongs the life of the door, while cycle counters and service indicators help maintain service levels and prevent unnecessary breakdown.

The Crawford 855 door can be fitted with a number of automatic opening alternatives for different access requirements and can be easily adapted to facilitate changing traffic or access situations.
