When Cadbury Trebor Basset required 25 loading bays to be fitted into its Milton Keynes distribution centre, it turned to loading bay equipment specialist Stertil Stokvis. The confectionery manufacturer's plants are in production 24 hours a day and the 350 000ft2 operation is part of its 'distribution capability improvement' project. Stertil Stovis installed dock doors, shelters and bumpers for each loading bay, eight Rapid-Roll internal doors and eight Blazeguard Fireshutters. The company's Rapid-Roll range of highspeed doors are available as internal and external models with its stainless steel doors particularly suited to the food industry. Fast opening and automatic closing saves energy costs. Blazeguard Fireshutters provide up to four hours fire protection and can be closed manually or automatically.
