Loading bay equipment for £30m warehouse December 1st 2006 Easilift Loading Systems has provided the latest in loading bay equipment for Nisa-Today's £30m warehouse and NDC in Scunthorpe. Easilift supplied and installed all the equipment for the 60 loading bays, including dock levellers, shelters, overhead doors, access doors and a wide range of accessories, in a contract worth in excess of £375,000. 56 of the 60 bays were equipped with Easilift's swing lip type 232 Poweramp dock leveller, measuring 2m wide x 2.5m long and with a 6000kg single axle load capacity. The four remaining bays have type 233 dock levellers with identical specifications but with a telescopic type lip. The type 403 dock shelter in 48 of the bays measures 3.4 x 3.4m. Those in the other 12 bays are larger, at 3.4m x 4.5m, to accommodate both high and double-deck type trailers. This sturdy, hard-wearing, general-purpose shelter provides optimal sealing of the vehicle during loading and unloading. Each bay has an electrically operated, insulated sectional overhead door incorporating a double glazed vision panel. The doors are manufactured from insulated panels incorporating a finger trap safe panel joint and an external HPS Plastisol finish. More articles from Easilift Loading Systems Ltd: |
