Specialist loading bay equipment supplied

Easilift Loading Systems has supplied specialist loading bay equipment for a new distribution centre opened by transport brokers, Carousel, in Kent.

Seven loading bays handle the largest vehicles and feature Easilift insulated overhead Powerdoors measuring 2840mm wide by 3320mm high. They also have model 403 dock shelters. These durable general purpose dock shelters are designed to seal off the widest possible variety of vehicles for loading/unloading.

Five of the bays have Easilift 232 Poweramp dock levellers a fully hydraulic model with a swing/ hinged type lip. Two are fitted with Levelmaster static bridging plates. All seven of these bays also have wheel guides to assist drivers in the correct positioning of their vehicles.

As the centre deals with heavy van traffic, Easilift also supplied 5140mm wide by 2370mm high Powerdoors for five double van bays.
