Trailer stand reduces hazards December 1st 2006 In June 2006 the TS-2000 trailer stand was launched by Caljan Rite-Hite, to reduce the hazard in loading bays throughout the country by making a small change to the way that trailers are managed. A few months on the stand is proving popular. Fitting most types of trailers, the stand is placed under the trailer's nose when uncoupled from the tractor unit. When in position, the stand will prevent the trailer from upending during loading or unloading. A simple design, which is a highly effective in use, it has a retracted length of 1050mm and extended length of 1400mm, and can support a trailer weighing up to 50,000kg. Made of square tubular steel, with a single gear cranking mechanism and solid rubber tyres, the TS- 2000 is virtually maintenance free, as well as safe and easy to use.
