Vision Techniques has introduced Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems for the warehousing and distribution industry.

The system provides a rapid and comprehensive method of monitoring and controlling access, with accurate identification of vehicles, 24 hours a day, in all weather conditions. In commercial applications it identifies vehicles entering and exiting specified areas. Networking capabilities allow a comprehensive database of traffic movement to be created and maintained.

This system has a range of applications including surveillance and anti-terrorism, site security and access control, traffic monitoring and regulation, journey time analysis and a variety of bespoke applications.
