Higher Platforms Group has announced the purchase of some new access platforms for the Handling and Storage Industry. The new additions to the fleet are in line with the company's continuing expansion plans.

Six additional Model 3384 Gas Powered Scissor Lifts from Genie Industries will be added to the extensive fleet. They are said to be ideal for heavy duty racking installations with a working capacity of 1134kg, cleaner LPG omissions and white nonmarking tyres. This acquisition will take the LPG fleet to over forty making it by far the largest in Europe.

Three additional model 180-12 Electric Powered Scissor Lifts from JLG Industries have been purchased to compliment the Narrow Aisle Range.

Suited to working in between high bay racking systems with an operating width of 1.20m to a working height of 20m, with a 500kg working capacity.

The specialist hire fleet is available through the Depot Network which includes Cannock, Thirsk, Basildon and Wellingborough.
