Free movement in columnless canopy

CopriSystems has installed a 32m wide loading bay canopy at MFIs national distribution centre in Northampton. MFI already has several loading canopies installed at sites throughout the country, but this is the first one of this size.

Providing environmental protection, the canopy has improved working conditions for staff and enables deliveries to be unloaded regardless of weather conditions.

Located at the receiving end of the operation, the structure is attached to the main warehouse, covering four large roller shutter doors. It has been kept open at the front to ease vehicle access.

Measuring 32m wide, and 22mm long, with a central height of 9m, the dome shaped canopy has no central column, allowing free movement throughout.
