Houses waste processing facility June 1st 2010 As part of its commitment to the
environment and to reduce skip hire
and removal costs, Travis Perkins,
has purchased three waste processing
machines including a large Auto
Baler to sort and bale cardboard
which is collected from its branches
after deliveries and returned to its
central site at Northampton. Once
installed, the company needed a
temporary structure to keep the
operation undercover and secure.
After approaching three temporary
building companies Aganto was
chosen. The company built a 15m
wide by 20m long building around
the machinery to Travis Perkins'
specifications. The building has an
eave height of 5.2m to accommodate
the Auto Baler and two roller shutter
doors for forklift access. As no level of
insulation was required, single skin
steel cladding was used for the walls
together with a PVC roof system. More articles from Aganto Ltd: |
