Pinewood Studios uses multiple Spaciotempo buildings
December 1st 2011 The Pinewood Studios Group is
synonymous worldwide for its
contribution to the film and
television industries.With a full
programme of productions this year they
realised that it was necessary to rent
additional space and they chose
Spaciotempo UK to supply them with 13
temporary buildings.
The buildings, supplied from stock,
range in size from 300 sq m to 1,175 sq m
and are being used for a variety of
applications, including prop and costume
storage, special effects
preparation and a garage
facility to house specialist
vehicles which are being
used on the set of Ridley
Scott's Prometheus, the
prequel to Alien. A
specialist flooring system
was installed within this
building to withstand the
weight of the vehicles.
