Versatile partition stops flow of dust

A Flexi-Part partitioning system from Galebreaker has been installed at a West Midlands’ factory to separate the laser welding equipment of Laser Welded Blanks from the coil slitting lines of parent company, Steel & Alloy.

The partition had to define the boundaries of the two companies, yet provide access. It is made from a reinforced, translucent, white plastic that allows more than 40% light transmission. Fire retardant, it reduces noise and has stopped the dust flow between the two areas. It measures 55m long by 8m high, yet needed no new steelwork support or foundations.
