June 1st 2007 Lifting Solutions is making
sure existing and prospective
customers are fully compliant
with new EU regulations
relating to explosive
atmospheres via a
partnership with Verlinde.
Installations running in
explosive atmospheres must
now comply with European
Directive 99/92/EC. All
hoisting equipment on
production sites will have to
be ATEX-certified, or covered
by a risk analysis, and the
equipment concerned be
brought into compliance.

with these new European
requirements relating to
explosive environments," says
