Strong and safe steelwork connecting June 1st 2004 Suitable for a variety of materials handling and industrial applications, Access Technologies BeamClamp fixings provide a fast, easy and cost effective means of connecting steelwork.
Principally designed to secure secondary steelwork to primary steelwork without the need for welding or drilling, applications include fixing pipe, cable, conveyor, monorail and walkway supports, sprinkler and lift installations and header steelwork connections.
Using the BeamClamp fixing method eliminates the need for expensive skilled labour or power on site, and the need for a hot work permit, resulting in reductions in installation time and cost. The fixings also allow easy adjustment and re-alignment to cope with site tolerances. Not only does this ease installation, it also allows for easy re-configuration of the structure at a later date if required.
According to Access Technologies, the range features a series of technical innovations to provide a stronger, quicker and easier method than alternative products. The system is suitable for a variety of beam to beam, channel to beam, strut to beam and other connections. There is a choice of BoxBolt fixings for making connections to hollow section steelwork or where access is only available from one side of a structure. There are two types of floor fixings, one for connection to open mesh grating and one to connect solid plate flooring to steelwork. |
