Meeting anti-smoking legislation June 1st 2007 Parrs has launched a new
range of smoking ban
solutions. They will enable
organisations to meet the
new legislation that comes
into force on 1st July 2007
to protect employees and
the public from the harmful
effects of secondhand
smoke. No smoking signs
are available for immediate
delivery in a variety of
materials including selfadhesive
vinyl, rigid plastic,
stoved aluminium and
polycarbonate for use in a
wide range of
environments.
For organisations
that continue to
allow employees to
smoke outside,
Parrs has also
introduced a range
of cigarette butt
bins, shelters and
canopies for use in
designated smoking
areas situated away
from entrance and
exits. The robust
metal cigarette butt
bins are designed for secure
wall or floor mounting and
feature galvanised liners for
easy removal of ash waste
Accessories such as lighting
