Balers built just for you April 1st 2005 Pakawaste has utilised its design capabilities to provide a bespoke solution for baling cardboard waste and plastic bottles for Tamworth Borough Council.
The Lancashire-based company adapted a standard Powerkube XL machine in order to assist with the Council’s ambitious house waste recycling programme.
Thanks to the re-design, Tamworth Borough Council is now able to house cardboard and plastic bottles to be baled in the same machine with the minimum of change over time.
By introducing a sliding hopper and plastic bottle piercing attachment, the Tamworth Council staff can monitor their requirements and change from baling cardboard waste to plastic bottles in seconds.
The bottle piercing attachment has been developed especially to pierce bottles as they drop into the charge box area of the baler, ensuring any trapped air is expelled during the baling process – meaning the maximum weight of bale is achieved.
Pakawaste has a range of Powerkubes that can all be tailored and designed around customers’ individual needs. More articles from Pakawaste Limited: |
