HSE figures show that over the
past two years there have been
3,827 major injuries to workers as a
result of workplace transport
accidents, with 117 workers fatally
injured over the past two years as a

vehicle accounts for more than half
of all fatal transport-related
injuries.
Loading and unloading can be
particularly problematic. A high
vehicle or a vehicle carrying a high
load, colliding with an overhead
pipe, duct or cable tray can be just
as disruptive and expensive as
impact damage occurring in
ground level collisions. A-Safe
height restrictors are ideally suited
for use in prevention of high-level
impact damage. Not only do they

warn a vehicle driver or operator
