Full fire protection with no false alarms

An Apollo-based intelligent fire detection system has been designed by Contract Fire Systems to protect a new Asda national distribution centre in Lutterworth.

Critical to Asdas UK operations, the three-level facility holds 17,000 product lines. It requires the highest level of fire risk protection, but cannot afford to have operations interrupted by nuisance alarms.

Apollos Discovery range of intelligent fire detectors offers a number of features that enable pinpoint accuracy in the detection of genuine fire hazards, while eliminating the causes of false alarms. The range includes ionisation and optical smoke detectors, a heat detector, a multisensor and manual call-point.
