New side and top discharge cooler

Manufacturer of the EcoCooling ranges of evaporative coolers, EcoCooling, has launched new side and top discharge evaporative cooling models.

Like the others in the range, they have been designed specifically for the commercial and industrial market to provide a simple, safe and low cost solution to the cooling of people and processes - taking into account the UK's climate, water quality and health and safety regulations.

The new models, which can produce up to 35kW of cooling for every 1kW of electricity consumed, have been specifically developed for applications where a roof installation is not an option.

The new units allow installations to be sited at ground level or on the side of buildings, eliminating the need for roof penetration.

This can enable a safer, lower cost installation and easier future maintenance.

Either fabric or metal ducting can be used for easy routing of the cooled air into areas where cooling is required. An axial fan provides up to 4m3/s of cool, fresh air. They have integral thermostatic and humidity logic and can be linked to any current building management control
