Sound hearing protection
August 1st 2007

Peltor has added hearing protection developed with the younger worker in mind to its Next range.

Torque earplugs offer protection in virtually all noisy environments and the company says that while metallic colouring makes them appear tough as nails, they are made from Ultrasoft, comfortable foam.

According to the company, twisting the plug while pushing it into the ear canal can achieve an optimum seal (SNR 32dB(A).

The Pulsar banded hearing protector is an ergonomic neckband and comfortable dual moulding, which Peltor claims affords greater stability, grip and comfort. The company says the protector performs well – SNR 23dB(A).
