Pakawaste solves hanger hang ups

Pakawaste has helped Meadowhall Shopping Centre get back on the rails when it comes to organising coat hanger waste.

With 270 stores, the shopping centre generates high volumes of waste – including unwanted coat hangers. But after Pakawaste supplied and installed an MX600 vertical baler, the centre no longer has any ‘hang ups’ about collecting and disposing of this type of waste. With the new machine in place, the hangers can now be neatly condensed into a mill sized bale, reducing the amount of space required on site.

The MX600 is the largest baler in Pakawaste’s vertical baler range and reduces volumes by up to 80%.
