Hoisting orders on the up
August 1st 2007 Demag Cranes &
Components has
received a
significant order
for electric chain
hoists.
All of the 124
hoists supplied to
Distributor Chains
and Lifting Tackle
are 1250Kg SWL
rated models from
Demag's DC-COM range. The
two-speed hoists feature an
ergonomic control pendant
with a fully adjustable
cable which allows the
pendant to be
positioned at a safe and
comfortable height for the
operator. Safe load handling
is said to assured by the
hoists' single fall chain
design. For ease of
maintenance, the entire
chain may be replaced
without having to remove
the motor or gear
components. In addition,
there is direct access to all
main inspection areas via a
