Cut heat loss down to size
August 1st 2007 Atco-Qualcast has invested in
Hi Speed Roller Doors from
Union Industries to help cut
down heat loss at its
production facility in Suffolk.
The company has installed
nine Bulldoors, seven have
been fitted to external
openings with the remaining
two fitted internally to
segregate areas inside the
factory. The Bulldoors are
activated to open
automatically at speeds of
1.7m per second using a
combination of 8-channel
Radio Control or Radar
Motion Sensors.
Manufactured as part of
the Matadoor range, the
Bulldoors feature a 'Crashout'
facility, which ensures
the door remains operable if
