Don't sweat it with cool and dry gloves
April 1st 2008 The new Helix C5 glove has
been developed by uvex to
control hand temperature
and perspiration levels, with
the aim of increasing user
comfort. Level 5 cut
protection is provided with
cut resistant hybrid yarns,
blended with what uvex
calls the 'silky-feel' fibre of
its 'Bamboo Twinflex'
technology to control
temperature and moisture.
To improve dexterity and
fit, the glove is made using
Flat Ergo moulds which are
supposed to exactly replicate
the hand. Elastomer
coatings improve
breathability and grip
properties in dry or light oil
