SDI riding high June 1st 2009 SDI Group, provider of
integrated materials handling
solutions for international
distribution operations, has
announced recent contract
wins, totalling approximately
£8million for the financial
year to 31 March 2010.
The group has won
contracts with clothing
retailers Jack Wills and TK
Maxx to provide additional
capacity to existing
distribution facilities. The
group has also won two new
contracts to design, build
and support new automated
warehousing systems for
Dutch apparel retailers
Noppies and Wolverine.
It has also supplied and
installed further sorting
systems to Decathlon, a
major French sports clothing
and equipment retailer.
"We are delighted to
announce these contract
wins which will see SDI
continuing to work with big
name retailers in the UK and
mainland Europe," says
Gordon Smith, SDI's CEO.
"Despite of difficult global
conditions, retailers are still
able to recognise the longterm
savings that SDI's
