Screening workers December 1st 2007 Jaguar is protecting staff in
the logistics warehouse of its
Castle Bromwich
manufacturing centre using
pallet rack safety screens
supplied by Troax UK.
Troax's screens were
installed during a major
investment programme at
the site, which included
expanding capacity in the
warehouse by tripling the
level of racking which is
used to store parts for the
Jaguar XK.
The project was carried
out through main racking
contractor Dalvie Systems,
who used a combination of
new systems and existing
tacking to increase three-fold
the amount of storage space
with the warehouse. Troax
secured the racking with its
Musca wire mesh pallet rack
safety screens. The screens
are designed to prevent
accidents caused by items
falling from racking during
picking, ensuring a safer
working environment. More articles from Troax (UK) Limited: |
