Take their breath away April 1st 2008 For over 50 years,
Draeger has supplied
breath alcohol devices to
police forces all around
the world. The new
Alcotest 6810 combines
advanced data capture
and storage with fast
analysis.
Draeger says that even
after high alcohol
concentrations, the warmup
and retest times are
short, due to its accuracy
check and calibration
procedure.
Three different LED
colours provide an
immediate visual
confirmation of the result,
along with text on an LCD
graphic display. The
device is operated by a
simple three button
process.
The mouthpiece can be
easily attached and
removed, and offers low
blowing resistance,
leaving no room for the
possibility of breath
sample manipulation.
At the end of the test,
an alarm is emitted and
result categories pass, fail
and alert are indicated.
The device is equipped
with a datalogger that can
store up to 200 events,
and where hard copies are
required, a printer can be
supplied with the unit. More articles from Draeger Safety UK Limited: |
