Taking a stand against fatigue
April 1st 2007

Tuff Spun is one of a range of anti-fatigue mattings from Plastic Extruders (Plastex) that enables employers to improve the health of employees who normally stand for long periods.

Comprising PVC foam with a ribbed slip resistant surface, the matting induces muscle flexing in the legs and calf, improving well-being and reducing fatigue.

University research for Plastex on standing fatigue showed a 10% reduction in one hour. The matting is recommended for all areas where workers must stand, such as workstations, packaging and processing areas. Also available is Tuff Spun Plus with yellow edges for safety demarcation.
